Those who are from or have visited Toronto this winter know that frigid is just an understatement. Thankfully Silverstein, who brought along Picturesque, Broadside and fellow Toronto natives Selfish Things, took the stage on Thursday night to turn up the heat for Stay Warm Festival at the Danforth Music Hall.
Fans trekked from all across Ontario, from Hamilton to Barrie. A few of them, who arrived at the venue promptly at the venue to claim a front row spot at the barriers, gushed about how Silverstein's distinctive sound served as a soundtrack throughout middle school and high school, a tough few years for most in terms of self discovery. With 8 studio albums and an impressive track record of tours, including the Vans Warped Tour, Silverstein has served as a Canadian punk/hardcore icon for almost two decades.

Although Tonight Alive was unfortunately not able to make it on the Toronto stop, Silverstein still delivered nonetheless with a double header set, including playing their entire "Discovering the Waterfront" album and their Greatest Hits. Their set captivated fans from the first beat to the last, decorated with plenty of strobe lights and a backdrop with their name and logo. Check out the stills from the set below:
