By Wendy Wei Australian singer/songwriter Dean Lewis, whose single "Waves" rose to fame a couple of months ago after being featured on the popular American drama series Riverdale, played an intimate set at the Drake Underground on Thursday night. The audience consisted of fans who knew the singer from "Waves," those who found him through Spotify's beloved curated playlists as well as those who were just dropping by after a drink at the Drake Hotel upstairs of the venue. Dean performed songs from his new EP "Same Kind of Different" Amongst those in the audience was also fellow singer BANNERS, who shared the same record label and dropped by after moving into the city. Thank you to Original Matters for having us at the show!
