Gabrielle Aplin returned to Toronto last night for a sold out show at The Velvet Underground, the first stop on her North American Tour. Fans were lined up down the block and around the corner eager to get in, a lot like the last time she performed a sold out show at El Mocambo four years ago. The night began with John Splithoff taking the stage where he performed hits such as Sing to You and Show Me. The New York native engaged the audience in some sing-alongs and prepared them for the night of music. Shortly after, Hudson Taylor took the stage, the brothers from Dublin performed fan favourites such as Chasing Rubies and Run with Me. As Gabrielle Aplin took the stage, the crowd was packing in an eager to hear her performance. Her set began with Night Bus, from her newest EP Miss You. The night went on with performances of Panic Cord, Heavy Heart and fan favourites Power of Love and Please Don't Say You Love Me. The night concluded with a performance of Home which was accompanied by the crowd singing along in silence. Check out down below for some photos from the night!
