On Thursday night fans were gathered to see Kristen Flattery, an Los Angeles based artists who made her debut as K. Flay in 2010. Last year K.Flay released her GRAMMY nominated, debut album Every Where Is Some Where, which spawned the breakthrough hit single ‘Blood In The Cut’. K. Flay visited Toronto on the second leg of her sold-out tour with support from Yungblud. Yungblud, an artist hailing from Manchester, England is a sight to see, just releasing his debut EP in January, he has the poetic lyrics of Alex Turner but also jumps around on stage like Tory Lanez. Starting the night off performing 21st Century Liability and playing massive hit I Love You, Will You Marry Me he started the night off with an absolute bang. After being nominated for two Grammy Awards in January, K. Flay is back on the road and dropped by Toronto for an amazing show. Equipped with her own lighting and a riser on stage, the audience already knew it was going to be amazing. Opening her set with Make Me Fade and Giver, she went on to perform hits High Enough and Blood in the Cut, including a cover of Louis the Child's It's Strange. Moving around the stage and giving it her all, the audience couldn't help but feel the contagious energy and we're engaged the whole night.
